I have been on a sabbatical from teaching at FIT since January- and have been drawing like crazy! I will be posting more on that, but for today, wanted to share some drawings from the annual Easter Bonnet parade across from St. Patrick's Cathedral in NYC. It was my first time going downtown to experience this really fun day- and it did not disappoint! I might have to do a bonnet for next year!

Each of these is just wonderful. I can't stop smiling at them. I was so jealous that you, Susan, and Amy got to do this...and I had to have brunch with family. lol You had more fun I'm sure!

Melanie, I have been back to look at these three times now! Your lines are so fresh! I love how you captured the personality of the peeps and their hats. It was a fun day, and one we should make an annual tradition. Who needs Disneyland when we have it here in NY?
