Hong Kong KRAZY!

Oh, I know that it has been forever since I posted.
I just returned from a cool project that I received a grant for at FIT,
where I teach Illustration.
I traveled to Hong Kong and China as a documentary artist,
along with a group of graduate students who are involved in
global fashion management.
It is a draftsman's paradise-just fantastic- and my head is still reeling-
much to scan and to say- all to come along.

This drawing is GORGEOUS! I love the rhythmic punctuation of the black and the bits of color are just fantastic.

Sounds like your trip was great. I can't wait to hear more about it!

Just found your blog via Urban Sketchers-terrific work, full of vitality. Reportage style sketching is my favourite & your work is really inspiring.

I love the color, the paper tint and the rhythm of the figures and the line!! It all feels so right. Love it. It brings up a hard to describe internal sound something like an aha chuckle but with more pleasure.

Must have been a great trip.

Ira, hi.
thanks as always, for your comments.
In a nutshell, my trip reminded me of who I am...
It does not get better than that!
